What is MiniMax Hailuo?
Hailuo is MiniMax’s AI video generation family — also known as 海螺视频.
Public Open Platform models include MiniMax-Hailuo-02, MiniMax-Hailuo-2.3, and
MiniMax-Hailuo-2.3-Fast. They cover text-to-video and image-to-video
with short cinematic clips (commonly 6s / 10s at 768p or 1080p).
Hailuo 2.3 improves on Hailuo 02 for motion, stylization, and micro-expressions; Hailuo 2.3 Fast trades some quality for lower latency and lower cost (MiniMax cites up to ~50% cheaper batch runs vs the full 2.3 model). Newer MiniMax H3 / Hailuo 3.0 multimodal variants are rolling out on MiniMax’s own surface; our first x402 SKUs target the stable Open Platform Hailuo 2.x line unless H3 API packaging is ready.
